Red, White and Blue Yogurt Parfait

Enjoy a little red, white and blue with this festive yogurt parfait! The combination of fresh fruit, Greek yogurt and crunchy granola make for a healthy, breakfast or snack. Show your patriotic pride this 4th of July by making these today!

Red, White, and Blue Yogurt Parfait

I used Vanilla Greek Yogurt, but use any type of yogurt you like. Greek yogurt has twice the protein content of regular yogurt keeping you full longer and helps with weight control. Greek yogurt has a thicker, creamier texture and with its tart taste pairs perfectly with the sweetness of berries and crunch of granola.

Make this parfait in a mason jar because let’s be honest, they look so pretty, but also it’s portable and an easy on the go breakfast. If making ahead of time, to keep the crunch of granola, leave space at the top of the jar and add granola right before eating.

Use my Homemade Granola recipe. When making your own granola, you have complete control over what you add. With my homemade granola, you are eating real food with no added sugars and it tastes so good! Your kitchen will smell amazing too!

Have fun with this parfait, layer in any order and add as many ingredients as you want to make the perfect, visual presentation. Layer in raspberry jam, drizzle with honey, or sprinkle with cinnamon.

This recipe is for one serving, but can easily be made into multiple servings for a cookout. If you want to serve as a 4th of July dessert, try substituting the yogurt layer with whipped cream, crumbled vanilla or chocolate cake pieces, pound cake, or angel food cake.
